Lia's interest in photography started in high school where, as an aspiring photography student, she produced outstanding amatuer work that received recognition in the form of a $12,000 photography scholarship. In 2004 Lia graduated with the degree of Associate in Applied Science in Photography from the well-known photography program at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland.
Lia is a resident of Suburban Maryland where she lives with her boyfriend, two dogs, and her cat. As a lover of both pets and people, Lia combines her natural eye with a warm and unobtrusive approach that makes her easy to work with and produces outstanding photographic results.
